Looking for the Answers

Hello ladies and gentlemen! I am back. I apologize for all loyal readers. I had tried to post 3 really cool video posts (with graphics and everything) yet they failed to post, for a reason I am uncertain. I have created two new websites and been things have been generally crazy at the business! Bad economy what? I leave you with my homecoming post.

Why does it seem that whenever we are struggling to find the answers to our problems and difficulties in life we seem to bring about either:

1. More problems and difficulties of greater significance.
2. A different type of problem of difficulty

How many times has worrying about a particular issue or problem actually increased the difficulty of the problem? More often we actually replace a specific problem or difficulty with an entirely different issue to be upset about. Albert Einstein once said, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and getting the same results.”

We must then trace our results back to their source. The answers we seek or shall I say the cause of our most demoralizing failures is a result of looking for different effects among effects. However, many fail to see the actual cause of the situations they find themselves in. If you can begin to understand and change the CAUSE of the situations present in your life you can at once begin to take control change the effects.

Our current situations are mostly the result of our habitual mindset. The subconscious motives that dominate our lives tend to reoccur and repeat themselves. Many of us have been programmed to think in a specific way from a very young age, engaging in all kinds of limiting self-beliefs and negative states of mind. These patterns can become very destructive. Unfortunately, the programming of negative states of mind is not voluntary.

Our error comes from looking on the outside for these answers. Trace back the steps any material object or manifestation to its essential cause. You will find that all originate from one source. This ONE source is a spiritual source and the source of all power. It is not presently my purpose to describe this source, however, the earnest student of the mind will find that our means of interacting with the source comes from our ability and free will to think.

Therefore, when searching for our answers let us first examine our habitual modes of thinking. This is where our will power will play an important role. It is not our will power’s job to make our desire come about by playing with different effects, but to change our method of thinking. The answer you already know, you just have to convince yourself of this.

Subconscious Cruise Control

No matter what field or area of life, when one truly does something well, they make it look EASY. Notice a professional golfer smack a 300 yard drive, a basketball player leap over their opponent for a dunk, an amazing speaker deliver their message, or a Olympic athlete in their given sport. Everything done well is done in a manner that makes it look as if they are performing with ease.

Now lets take the flipside. Imagine a struggling salesperson working every angle to make a sale only to be continually let down, a physically out of shape individual hitting the gym for the first time, or perhaps a nervous schoolteacher giving their first lesson. These individuals may be saying the same words, imitating the exact same actions, and even thinking about the same desired outcome, however, they fail to match the level of performance. While their conscious mind may be prepared for the task, their subconscious system (which regulates the body, works 24 hours a day, balances your steps, and does million other activities at the same time) is not as programmed as the expert.

Playing the piano has blessed me with the knowledge of the working power of the subconscious mind. Any piano player would not be able to consciously understand every note they are playing without the tremendous assistance of the subconscious mind. In fact sometimes it feels like the more you let go and let your subconscious take over, the easier it is!

Therefore, remember this when setting out on your goals. Your method of thinking is the starting point for all achievement. The thoughts and emotions you allow to enter your mind will find their way to your subconscious. The tasks you then embark on will either be filled with ease or burdened with difficulty. Happy Holidays.

Ghosts and Forgiveness

Looks like Jesse has finally gone off the deep end! While many readers may chuckle at the contents of this next article, I think the underlying topic is of utmost importance. Many times I try to tie in scientific, literary, and traditional concepts to convey the message I am attempting to communicate. Much of the next article is purely speculative, but non-the-less in my humblest of opinions, entirely relevant. Additionally, you may not want to become a ghost (cue the evil laughter)!

Why is forgiveness important? In perhaps the most famous sermon held atop “the mount” and documented in the New Testament, Jesus Christ speaks much of forgiveness. Many regard this as the most important teachings in the Bible. “Forgive and you will be Forgiven.” According to Hebrew tradition when Jesus says this He implies not only that other men will indeed forgive you if you forgive, but to forgive, and you will be forgiven by God.

Why do we need forgiveness especially from an omnipotent, all-loving God? Perhaps that is not the question we should be asking. Perhaps we need forgiveness from ourselves. Forgiveness is required for the remission of sin. Sin may be simply defined as missing the mark. I like to think of it as acting (or thinking) in such away that denies our Divine Father and recognition of our Spiritual individualization of the omnipotent God. Therefore, we may deduce that forgiveness is required when we miss the mark. For example, this can be easily seen when we do not fulfill our duty to another person and require forgiveness from them. We could say we missed the mark of duty to that other person or sinned against them.

Ah great Sunday school kind of material. Now lets get crazy.

Let me first of all state that I have never seen a ghost, apparition, ghoul or any other type of phantom. However, I have very close friends from the nursing industry that often report to me being visited by apparitions of their recently deceased patients. Additionally, numerous historical accounts have documented paranormal activities relating to the deceased in every nation and culture. It is not my objective, however, to prove or disprove these accounts, it is sufficient to say a great amount of evidence speaks to the existence of a spiritual realm in which these ghosts reside.

These realms I cannot describe to you, though I would love to speculate of their properties. However, I believe that as we pass on, our body may die, but our state of consciousness continues on. Therefore, whenever we “miss the mark” we allow ourselves to become separated from the universal principle of Unity with the Infinite. Could a ghost be the embodiment of a soul in some state seperated from the Infinite Source not embrassing its true nature? I don’t know if there is a continuum to this level of separateness, but I do know that the Infinite operates with Love, which we cannot forever separate ourselves from.

Could this by why spirits linger in the earthly realm? What keeps these passed beings in their state of separation? Could perhaps a longing to for forgiveness from something, someone, or themselves motivate them from continuing onto greater levels of conscious existence? The mystery remains.

Thoughts or Actions?

Step right up ladies in gentlemen and get your ticket to the hottest boxing match of the century. In one corner we have Practical Pete.

Stats:

Nose to the grindstone hard worker

Understands the ins and out of Newtonian law

Achieves results through constant action

Brain the size of a pea, but muscle well developed years of labor

In the other corner we have Mystical Manny

Stats:

Able to keep his mind constantly in the realm of thought and awareness

Manipulates life on the Quantum level

Mastered the art of levitation

Achieves results through thinking and creating desires from the central point of existence

The fight going on with these two brutes, Practical Pete and Mystical Manny, is a fight myself and many of the readers of this blog face inside their head everyday. I usually error on the side of mystical Manny, because I think the realm of thought is an extremely power vehicle. However, the problem remains. We live in a world governed by Newtonian physics. We cannot turn a submachine gun into a piece of bread (a least not instantly). Even with a vast understanding of quantum mechanics which indicates all possibilities exist at any point of existence at all times past and future, we still cannot travel back in time, or transform our realities in an instant. At some point in the consciousness of humanity may be able to accomplish these feats without a second thought. For now, we can do our best to understand where these two great fighters meet and maximize our potential!

The physical world is much closer to the spiritual realm than we give it credit.

When attempting to accomplish great things, overcome addictions, find love, create something new, or any other endeavor set out upon in order to maximize your life the question must be asked: what is the best way to get the results I desire? Should I meditate all day and pray the results come about? Should I go out and just start randomly knocking on doors until I find an answer to my problem?

In order to maximize your results a progression must be followed that involves both thinking and action. At the very heart lies DECISION. You have been given the right by God to choose your path. The very first story in many holy books is of Adam and Eve. The story of Adam and Eve introduces the most fundamental element of the human experience is introduced: Decision. While we cannot choose many of the factors in life (although some speculate our souls may have chosen certain “lives” to live to enable their spiritual growth) we have complete control over our thoughts.

Once you have decided the path you want to take in life, our thoughts may then be emotionalized with desire. This process draws us to our desires through the law of attraction. Through single-minded desire with a definite purpose our brain and imagination begins to create ways to fulfill that desire.

Action then is inevitable. When desire has been fueled strong enough it often feel like we are not even trying, but rather fulfilling what we are meant to do! The “hard work” is mental. Knowledge of these principles is the beginning of getting the limited garbage out of your mind. I speak of this, and love to talk about it, because it has changed my life dramatically.

Maximizing your life is a process that will only get better and better. Thoughts and actions are not contrary to one another, but exist on a continuum that we call life.

THE POWER OF THOUGHT IS THE POWER OF CREATION

by Pablo De Leon

Here at Living Infinitely, I usually like to write my own work and convey my understanding of principles that have either worked for me, or at least make sense. However, sometimes other people in my life convey a principle or a practice that can only be said in their own words. Pablo De Leon, CEO of TGA truck driving school presented me with this essay. Pablo De Leon is a great man and business leader, with a tremendous imaginative mind. I have admired his ability to take ideas and create them into something truly wonderful. Here he writes on Creating your Reality.

Is it possible that we are a result of we have thought and continue to think? According to the teachings of Buddha we are exactly what we think, but many have gone through the journey of life without truly understanding what this concept means. The statement does not imply that we are every thought that travels through our daily minds, but rather, the thoughts that are utterly repeated within our minds that create a subconscious train of thought that eventually transmutates into our past and current realities.

Speak to someone who finds him/herself in a state of "failure" and listen to the words that they speak. Take note that these words are not consciously thought out, but are subconsciously given to construct the sentences and statements they convey to others. You will often hear, “Life is too hard and full of unexpected circumstances that are beyond my control” or the famous, “I will never find happiness here.” Sadly, one must begin to understand that this is what they truly believe inside and what they ultimately create in their reality! Before their own eyes, they begin to mold and shape their current reality by the thoughts that are constantly repeated. A term that has been defined as AUTO-SUGGESTIONS, in which the mixture of emotion, belief, and thought paves way to our reality. Through the conscious mind, we use auto-suggestions to transmit our conscious thoughts into subconsicous habits.

We all posses the same power and capability to create our reality, yet most will still doubt the power that is so easily manipulated. Where are you in life? Take a brief moment to note where your thoughts are too. You will begin to realize that they work in unison, thought and reality, to create a life that you either dislike, are content with, or truly enjoy. Remember, you are in complete control of the reactions to your circumstances and how you ultimately create your reality through thought backed by belief!

Affluence

I love the word Affluence. The name rings synonymously with Living Infinitely. Living in a state of affluence means living a fulfilled life not only from the level of the soul, but at the level of mind and body as well.

Affluence is a state of mind that is brought about by knowledge. When one understands and is conscious of the knowledge of affluence, wealth will most certainly manifest itself in life. Affluence within the realm of physical wealth comes from having a money conscious. In this article I will talk about the perplexing qualities of affluence. In understanding the concepts presented in this article, a money conscious is sure to develop.

Rich people do things differently than poor people do. It is often difficult for a person raised up poor to become very rich, mainly because they think differently than the rich person. Rich people have the money conscious. If you spend a lot of time with a wealthy person you too could develop the money conscious, this is why the children of rich people often remain very rich and often get richer. These few perplexing qualities of affluence may help you understand their secrets.

1. Affluence is created by giving. A sales person gives their service, the shopkeeper their goods, and the artist his talents. The more you give, the more you get back. It is the law of the universe. See the “Parable of the Talents” (Matthew 25:14-30)

2. The Affluent make money work for them. In another form of giving the very rich always understand how to make money their ally. In the process of lending, investing, and donating (all forms of giving) riches will begin to give themselves on your behalf! Abundance will inevitably return to the giver who gives lavishly.

3. The Affluent understands that there is always opportunity. The universe operates on a field of pure potential with opportunities ready to make themselves known. The opportunity will be created for the person who never gives up faith and persistence.

4. The Affluent are detached from their riches. Some of the greatest contributors to betterment our country have been men and women of exceedingly great wealth. However, these men and women did not pack all their savings under their mattresses. While the rich think about money often and understand its importance, they also understand its properties. The poor think about money in such a way they become attached to it. The money remains forever elusive.

5. Affluence creates more affluence.

Affluence is not necessarily good from a utilitarian standpoint. Many have used a wealth conscious for ill purposes. Heeding this warning, please understand that principles of affluence will begin to train your mind to work in way that can bring great fulfillment to life. The very knowledge of understanding how the principles behind affluence work is enough to begin your journey.

The Receiving Station

Being the proud owner of a cellular phone store I happen to be overly interested in obscure things like radio signals. Radio signals enable us to communicate from across the globe. I often spend my days on cell phones communicating with businesses and friends on the other side of the nation. Amazing! These invisible signals travel across entire nation to communicate with another human being. The power of these man-made electronic devices is astounding as they are able to transmit and receive invisible waves of information beyond our immediate comprehension. Imagine now, how much more powerful our brain can be.

Often in Living Infinitely, we look at the transmitting side of the brain. The thoughts, which subsequently become actions, we transmit into the world become our reality. The power of thought is infinitely more powerful than the cell phone. The very cell phone we speak of is a product of thought. Today however, we will discuss the receiving station of our brain.

Just like a cell phone our brain is constantly transmitting and receiving signals. The thoughts that we constantly think about are what we become. The famous saying from the Old Testament says, “As a Man Thinketh so He is.” There is no doubt the dominating thoughts of an individual shape the destiny and future of that individual. However, it is equally true that the brain acts as a receiving station.

The thoughts that we are constantly fed are accepted by the subconscious mind as fact. We live our lives largely based upon what has already been established by this part of the mind. The result of this can be readily observed in children from different families. Many a broken child has been created by parents constantly telling their children they are not good enough, smart enough, too fat, too skinny, and a host of other negative seeds constantly planted into the brain.

Powerful transmitters include music, television, books, blogs, and friends. Pay attention to the images, sounds, and emotions that are being transmitted to you. The constant bombardment of other thoughts making their way into your brain is not to be taken lightly! These images, sounds, and emotions make their way unnoticed into the automatic processes in the brain. The invisible soldiers make their way into your mind and march through your brain, gradually setting up camp and surrounding your actions. This army can serve as a tremendous asset and be a devastating foe.

What are you feeding your mind?

“In Him we Live, Move, and Have our Being.”

Read the title again from the first part of Acts 17:28. Within the title sentence is great meaning. When you read it, turn your attention inward as taking in a breath of air.

“In Him we Live, Move and Have our Being.”

Our first order of business is to get some of the details out of the way. This statement is made by the Apostle Paul when speaking to the Athenians, who were very religious in practicing the worship of various man-made idols (not unlike how we do now). Now the full verse states, “In Him we live move and have our being, as even some of our own poets have said, “For we are His offspring”.” Therefore, when referring to “Him,” this is not necessarily applying a gender to God, which may turn some off to the statement. The people of this time and place could perhaps relate to God being referred to as “Him.” This approach was especially effective as Paul is connecting their culture’s strong poetic and philosophic roots to this statement.

“In Him we Live, Move and Have our Being.”

Have you discovered the hidden power behind the sentence yet? Power only comes to those who are conscious of power. There was once a man who was down on his luck having lost his job, his wife, and his family. In his last resort he goes to a fortuneteller to see if there is any hope left in the future. The fortuneteller tells him he belongs to the lineage of the great Napoleon! At once the man begins to hold himself with great poise and strength. Soon he has his job back, a new wife, and a new reservoir from which to draw power. Later, he discovered through research that most likely he was not of Napoleon’s lineage. However, the inner power he found from identification stayed with him throughout his years.

“In Him we Live, Move and Have our Being.”

Here we recognize that true power comes from understanding that through identification of the Spirit one actually experiences true “being”. True power comes from the inside from our connection to the infinite. Everything we experience on the inside will come into manifestation on the outside. Seek the power within and you will find the ultimate realization of power and life in the world around you.

The Law of Opportunity

By Jesse Sherer and Pablo De Leon

“When you are unconditionally ready for something, it WILL make its appearance known.” Pablo De Leon - Revision of famous saying

Do the Opportunities that present themselves in our lives do so out of pure chance, or do they adhere to immutable law? Why does opportunity seem to favor some individuals and flee from others? The answer to these questions lies within a concept myself and friend Pablo De Leon have described as the Law of Opportunity.

Interestingly the great opportunities in our lives seem to arise out of thin air. Think back to a time when something significant happened in your life. Imagine the people, circumstances, and ideas that came together to create this opportunity. Think of how each one of those elements must have been cultivating for some time to create the necessary fundamental structure necessary for the opportunity. These seemly random forces converging together may seem to have occurred out of pure chance. However, a deeper inspection reveals that these events have not happened on pure accident but rather by the rising of a collective and powerful consciousness.

You may have heard of the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction basically states that our dominating thoughts create our destiny. The law of attraction operates on a personal level. Only you can control your own thoughts. Let us imagine two people are seeking different results contradictory to one another. Let’s say for example I claim a piece of land and want to construct an apartment building there. Another person with equal claim to the piece of land and equal amount of desire wishes to build a park. How then can the law of attraction bring about the desired result for both people? The law of opportunity finds the answer to the question.

All opportunity comes from the Infinite Source of Power and Intelligence the grand designer of the universe and the only creative energy in the universe. The law of opportunity does not make the law of attraction obsolete, but rather connects the web of time, attraction, the individual, and the community. We cannot create opportunity, but we can align ourselves to be ready for the opportunity. Opportunity will readily make it self- available to the one whom is unconditionally ready for it.

How then do we make ourselves ready for opportunities to be handed to us? To unconditionally ready for a thing implies two distinct properties.

1. Intent: Along the lines of the law of attraction we must intend for this opportunity to manifest.

2. Awareness: We must be completely aware of our own Being and connection with everything else. Awareness of this fact will bring about opportunity we may have not known existed. In the realm of Being, opportunities are spontaneously created and anything is possible.

When these two properties are combined through conscious living, you will align yourself with law of opportunity. The act of doing this will create opportunities around every corner. It will allow you to see the interconnectedness of people, objects, and events.

The Connection to the Infinite

When I was twelve years old, I learned about the amazing powers of the subconscious mind. It was a difficult time in my youth, family life was fairly turbulent as my mother was battling cancer. I found my solace in learning to play the piano. I discovered very quick the amazing powers of our Mind! Within one year I had my first job playing the piano for money. I learned to read music and play difficult compositions in a very short period of time. My Mind was fueled by emotion and the excellence came with ease. My labor was mental and I discovered the amazing power we (our true selves) have over thought. Because we are indeed, much more than our thoughts.

Since, I have made it a study to understand the capabilities human mind and how it relates to our purpose. I have constructed chart this to assist in understanding some concepts I believe are helpful in understanding how we can live infinitely.

Thoughts: You have them all the time. In fact it is very difficult to not experience thought. Our thoughts lead to our actions. Every event that takes place in our lives is a result of preconceived thought. We become our dominating thought patterns. Thought, however, is not who we are. Our thoughts are certainly a part of who we are but the true selves resonates in a much deeper place.

Who am I?: If we truly become our dominating thought patterns then the question must be asked. Who is the director of the thought pattern? Who says, I will think this, or I will do that? Who you are then is deeper than your thoughts. Unfortunately, if you think about yourself and try to describe yourself in terms and labels then you are inevitably going to be slightly off as you have created another idea introduced by thought. However, we can begin to understand the true nature of life as we begin to grasp these concepts with "conceptual clues". The true self is of a pure spiritual nature. The purpose of our life: Spiritual development.

The Subconscious Mind: As we resonate through this life of spiritual development we have a powerful tool that we can use to communicate with our spiritual nature. This is the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is the bridge between our thoughts and our spiritual nature. The two take part in a beautiful dance not yet fully understood by man occurring between our mind and the solar plexus. As you can see from the diagram that the subconscious mind connects to both our physical realm of thought, and the Infinite. Understanding the subconscious mind allows us to tap into the amazing power and infinite creativity of the Ultimate Intelligence.

The Universal Mind: While my diagram does not do this magnificent operation a hint of justice. It does show that while our thoughts do not readily connect to universal mind (Omnipresence) we may communicate with this greater source of power. This may only be done through deep meditation, prayer, and heightened awareness. As you can see from the picture, the Universal Mind is a circle and encompasses all and is not limited to one person. This is the source of everything and cause for all effects. In our spiritual development it is necessary to understand this as the only real and lasting source of power.

I posted this for the purpose of clarity. It is very easy to get caught up in only focusing on understanding the Inifnite Intelligence, or the subconsious mind, or even mind management on a conscious thought level. Understanding the inner workings of all these elements and how they beauitfully blend together gives us a complete picture and raises our awareness. When we understand the cause for all effects we can begin to experience life. We become aware of the pure potential and unlimited wealth that exists entirely within our being.

Intention: The Beginning of Wealth

Intention begins with desire. The stronger we desire something, the stronger our intentions instigate an attraction to the desired object and bring it to reality. Therefore, our deepest desires can be made a reality in our lives through our intentions. Many people speak of dreams and imagination being the creator of wealth, health, happiness, and whatever else your heart may desire. Dreams and imagination are important, serving as a foundation. However, our desire and intention are the missing elements that many fail to incorporate into their dreams and in-turn fail to change their lives

Many advocates of the law of attraction draw a large audience by stating that no plan or strategy is require in creating personal wealth (we will use wealth here in any sense you wish monetary or otherwise). These individuals are missing a key point of intention – the bridge between our realities and our dreams. Since we were kids we have heard about wishing upon stars, genies in magic lamps, and to generally to never let go of our dreams. At early ages many of us are strongly influenced by voices telling us our dreams are out of reach. When we grow older into our teens and early adulthood we lose much of our ambitious thoughts when realize that things are not as easy as we thought. A great many people dream of being rich, famous or a host of other goals, yet those that obtain tremendous results have found on the inside what it takes to be truly wealthy. The meeting point between results and dreams is INTENTION and it is my pleasure to assist you in generating strong intentions that deliver.

As I mentioned before creating intention truly begins with a definite burning desire. I say the word DESIRE because it is stronger than a mere dream or wish. When desire becomes cultivated to become an action it can be described as our intention. It is the missing link in many self-improvement and mind management writings. Here is why. When our dreams become strong enough to be called desires the intention usually takes care of itself. In a process that can be only described as super-natural (although it clearly happens often in everyday life) the plans and strategy to accomplish your dreams become spontaneously apparent. The process can take days or possibly months, but once the principles of harnessing this great power are mastered, the results are staggering.

Success comes easily to highly developed success conscious individuals. Have you ever met these individuals? It seems every venture they partake in brings about some form of success sometimes in ways greater than they expected. Success cloaks them like a super-hero’s cape and steers them from difficulties. They use the power of intention to steer their actions and formulate PLANS for achievement. Their intention stems from an intense desire to become who they will to be. Nothing is forced, but rather attracted through the mindset. With diligence and practice the mind hones its abilities making the process easier and easier multiplying the results.

Therefore, the question must be asked how do we go from dreams to intentions to definite plans. Three ways have brought proven results.

1. REPETITION in programming the subconscious mind. Our subconscious mind interprets what we tell it as absolute and programs our body on how to respond. We can influence our subconscious mind by repetition. If you constantly hear something, you accept it as truth. Write down what you want to accomplish. Set a dollar amount, a house, a car, a state of mind, ect. Do this in the positive, I will ________ (fill in blank). Do not do this in the negative or the opposite will come true (example: I don’t want to be broke).

2. EMOTION in belief. Our centers of emotion some of our most powerful assets. If you do not believe me study the life of an artist. Many artists are deeply moved by emotional states to create great works beyond average human capacity. Our positive emotions (sometimes negative too) can be directed to help accomplish our goals and enable our intentions. Emotion gives legs intention.

3. PERSISTANCE in application. The techniques will come to some more naturally then others. However, persistence of these principles WILL secure the desired result. Once you have formulated your plans and begun to see them through be persistent in your intention and strategy. If you fail to accomplish your goals the first time, then your plans were not sound. Be persistent and try again. Each time you “fail” it plants a seed of success for later.

The preceding are not beliefs of an odd religion, but rather laws that govern our universe. They can be applied and master by anybody with the capable mind to receive them. I have used these laws of intention to manifest great things in my personal life including businesses producing cash flow, put ideas into motion, and created some fantastic relationships. Currently, one of my goals is to intend visitor to come and enjoy my website Living Infinitely in hopes we can share knowledge about what works in life and how to maximize our potential. So far it has been working, I’ll keep you posted on my progress.

Why You Should Turn Your Cell Phone Off For 1 Hour per Day

Turn off my Cell for ONE Hour!?!

No vibrate, no silent ring, no messages. Period.

Oh yes and it can’t be in the morning that’s cheating.

Why would I tell you to turn your cell phone off for one hour per day? Being the owner of a cell phone store and a website that sells GSM phones it does not make a lot of sense for me to tell you to turn off you cell phone. I even support people wearing Bluetooth devices; they are tremendous assets that assist business professionals and people on the go everywhere in the world. Cell phones have changed the world. The speed of business has grown exponentially and productivity has soared to unbelievable heights with our state-of-the-art handsets (technical talk for cell phone or mobile device). SMS, EMS, MMS, and other messaging systems enable individuals (millennials mostly) to send short text messages to give directions, mass greetings, or spread gossip among friends. Wireless communications has greatly enriched our lives. However, I am here to tell you that you NEED to turn your cell phone off for one hour every day. Here are my reasons why:

1. Cell phones create stress. Think about nobody being able to call you for a whole hour. Will you lose business? They can still leave a message. Ask yourself this question: If you lived a slower life style with less stress would you be less financially secure? Except in extreme cases I find the opposite to be true. Wealthy individuals are calmer and have less stress than those with fewer assets.

2. Work smarter not harder. Leverage is far more productive than attempting to conquer the world yourself. Turning off your cell phone will teach you the art of leveraging your time to work for you. By turning off your cell phone, you actually create more demand for yourself because there is less supply for others to constantly tap into. Do this too much, and it’s a bad policy, but just enough leverage can increase your productivity.

3. Help eliminate procrastination. The constant ring of the telephone makes it easy for us to avoid the tasks we need to take care of. Turning it off will help you regroup, organize, and execute your plans with ease.

4. The last and most important reason to turn off your cell phone is that it will allow you to THINK. Thinking is the most important task we can do and nothing is more powerful then our creative thoughts. Take this time to plan your next moves, formulate your strategies, and reflect on the past actions.

Become a Positive Person in 21 days

Making changes in your life involves reshaping the way you think. When your thinking has changed and taken new form, situations will spontaneously change. How we react to the events in our lives form a relationship with our plans and desires creating the path for the future.

If you have a goal you would like to accomplish in the future, continually walking down the same road and reacting to your life in the same way will not get you to your destination. For example you plan on losing 30 pounds. If you continually eat the same type of food and do the same exercise routine inevitably no results will be made – despite your solidified goal of losing the weight. Therefore, one of our most powerful enemies is complacency.

Our subconscious mind is programmed to influence our actions and habits. When our subconscious is programmed in a healthy manner, our actions and reactions perform flawlessly achieving miraculous results. When our subconscious is programmed destructively bad lucks seems to naturally follow us around every corner.

Having a positive outlook on life will bring about positive results. Expect the best and get it (likewise expect the worst and get ready for the storm). Thinking positively is not an easy task. As we grow up and face difficulties in life, negative influences that tell you that you cannot do something, or are not good enough engrave themselves our subconscious mind. The following is a 21-day plan to get yourself on the road to positive thinking.

Day 1-7

Stop watching the news (there is never positive news on the news)

Write down a positive affirmation (such as I will accomplish _____) and read it aloud every morning and night

Drive a different way to work every morning (this is to remind yourself that you are making an effort to change your thinking and it is a fresh outlook on life)

Day 7-14

Continue step 1 and 2

Make an effort everyday to say something positive to the people you associate with

Day 14-21

Do not be around negative people; you should be able to recognize these individuals by now. Even if they are close friends, trust me, they will do your life no favors.

Fight Negative thoughts: If a negative or self restricting thought enters your mind immediately identify it as such and replace it with a positive one.

After 21 days, I guarantee that you will recognize a difference in your life. I will not have to tell you to repeat the steps because the new life style will become so refreshing you will not ever want to deviate from it.

The Secrets of Mind Control

Have you ever wanted to influence the mind of another person in order to persuade them? I don’t recommend doing this for harmful purposes, but it is certainly possible. I will go through a few techniques for you to try out today.

1. The most important fact to realize is that people care most about themselves. Anyone who realizes this will have an advantage on the rest of his or her associates. Most people are so busy thinking about themselves they pay no attention to who is influencing them. Realize others care more about themselves.
2. The second most important fact is that 90% (probably over 90%) of communication is done through nonverbal communication. Picture a nervous student giving a speech. They are self-conscious and entirely consumed with worrying about what others think, while the rest of the audience does not care, they are too busy worrying about themselves as well. Use your body language to display the message you are trying to convey.
3. Use the power of suggestion. Try this. Tell one friend or coworker how good they look three times throughout the day, you will notice them holding themselves better at the end of the day. Tell another friend or coworker that they look like they are getting sick. Tests have shown that after enough suggestions they will actually begin to feel sick (don’t do this one too much). Use suggestions to saturate the subconscious and influence others.
4. Drop clues through your language. If you want someone to get excited, use positive language and words that bring about excitement. Use powerful words for powerful results. Words like money, sex, death, birth, and power have strong connections to the subconscious of others. Direct others thoughts subconsciously by dropping clues through your language.
5. Use the silence to your advantage. People are generally uncomfortable with silence. Given the right moment, silence can be a powerful ally to help create the influence you desire. Give it a try. Next time you are facing a problem with someone, just give them a stare and a confident look, many times they will workout the problem on their own (parents have used this technique for years). Silence can be more powerful than sound.

Give each of these techniques a try. With practice, you will find yourself become a more powerful, attractive, and influential person in the eyes of others.
